I wanted to get this one over quick since it will only apply to individuals that are young and are looking for an education that will put them on the fast track to getting a high tech job.

You will get a diploma, though it’s very useful while applying for a job and even LinkedIn has it as a filter on many of their job posting you have to take in to account that companies value more the experience and usually will ask what have you done In the last 6 months than ask you how where your grades at school.

Building your portfolio might be a better project to focus on and you can do this while you develop your coding skills.

There are some institutions that will give you a formal and very practical formation as a coder, they will make sure you learn and apply what they teach you and it’s by far one of the best ways to learn simply because they hold you accountable for the process you are undertaking at the time.

This is the most discouraging route to take because if you don’t have a goal and the will to overtake hours of research and heartbreaking frustration you will probably end with hate in your heart for the coding world and regret spending any time on learning this skill.
